RAWALPINDI- The Customs Court on Thursday approved one-day immunity from appearance before the court to model Ayyan Ali’s in money laundering case.
Judge Rana Aftab was responsible for hearing the currency smuggling case held against Ayyan. The counsel for the defendant notified the court that Ayyan was summoned to appear before Sindh High Court (SHC) in context to another case which is why she could not attend the hearing.
The court considered the request and granted an order to ensure Ayyan’s presence in the next hearing.
