KHYBER AGENCY: Interest free loans were given away to 84 tribesmen under the banner of the Governor Interest free loan scheme at a ceremony hed at a jirga hall in Landikotal, on Sunday.
The loan scheme was organised with the assistance of a non-profitable group Akhuwat Organisation. Tehsildar Landikotal Irshad Mohmand, who was the chief guest on the occasion, granted cheques of Rs.30,000 to 84 deserving tribesmen of tehsil Landikotal.
Branch manager of Akhuwat Organization, Kazim Ali Shah, while sharing details said that as per the scheme policy, loans could be provided to a group of three persons and a total sum of Rs 90,000, comprising Rs 30000 each among the group would be granted to them on personal guarantee.
