ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has urged the coordination committee in Sindh to ensure adequate participation of women and minorities as part of the reorganisation process.
The PPP Chairman was presiding over the Sindh coordination committee meeting, attended by MNA Faryal Talpur and Political Secretary to the Chairman Jameel Soomro, according to a press release issued by the PPP secretariat. The committee members briefed Bilawal Bhutto about worker meetings in six districts so far. These comprised Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Tando Mohammad Khan, and urban and rural Hyderabad. They said the reorganisation process had mobilised the workers, reinstating confidence in the older ones while attracting new blood to the party at the same time.
The committee members went on to say that the workers appreciated the step taken by the Chairman regarding the reorganiation process, claiming it had generated great enthusiasm and jubilation among party workers and supporters alike. Bilawal Bhutto, for his part, admired the work put in by the committee members and asked them to ensure adequate participation of women and minorities, stressing that no segment be left behind in the reorganisation process.
