ISLAMABAD: Almost 40 mosques and 29 imambargahs in the federal capital have been declared sensitive ahead of Ramazan.
Sources said that the federal police have started for Ramazan under which a force of 2,500 policemen will perform security duty outside mosques, imambargahs, markets and other important installations during the month of fasting.
Metal detectors will be used to check people entering mosques and imambargahs. Big markets, hotels, guest houses and bus terminals will be checked on a regularly basis.
